We are trying to get an understanding of your space and the scope of work. It would be helpful if you send exisiting floor plans / architectural drawings and photos of the space (taken in daylight). To provide the best possible outcome and keep design costs down, you will need to share your overall budget with us. Don’t worry, we tailor our design concept to your budget.

Absolutely! Affirmative Living offers e-design services that allow us to create and deliver detailed, shoppable design plans no matter where your property is located. We communicate virtually to ensure your design needs are met efficiently and effectively.

The duration of your project depends on the type of service, its complexity and scope of work. Our E-Design Service has a quicker turnaround time- usually 4- 6 weeks (depending on how many rooms we are designing for you). For our turnkey service, it can take anywhere from 8 to 26 weeks to complete, and even longer if construction and remodeling are involved. Before starting the project, we will be discussing the timeline with you and give you our realistic estimate.

Our initial discovery call is free. Please note that we charge a non-refundable fee of 350 AUD + GST for our initial in-home or virtual consultations to cover expenses on our end. This is because it involves a working session, during which we will assess your space, provide design advice and direction, and put together a Design & Fee Proposal.

We absolutely encourage our clients to use their treasured pieces. After all, we are here to help you create a space that is uniquely yours and a mix of older and newer pieces makes a design interesting. However, we will also communicate try to keep the design vision in mind and communicate, if we have worries that they might not incoporate well. In that case, we might suggest to reposition them in other areas.
